Get ready, Warrington—The Puddle Project has officially thrown down the gauntlet!
Introducing Puddle vs The World—our brand-new community challenge tournament, where local businesses, organisations, and community groups go head-to-head in a series of friendly but fiercely fun competitions… all to win the ultimate bragging rights and take home the prestigious Puddle Trophy!
What Is Puddle vs The World?
Puddle vs The World is a light-hearted but competitive event where we invite companies, charities, and local groups to take on our adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in inclusive, accessible challenges designed for everyone to enjoy.
We’re proud to have already battled it out with some fantastic teams, including:
- Warrington Borough Council
- Decathlon Warrington
- Kwik Fit Warrington
And trust us—our adults bring the heat!
The Challenge: Boccia Battles & More
Our tournament is centred around Boccia—an inclusive, tactical, and seriously competitive game that’s perfect for all abilities. It’s all about precision, teamwork, and strategy… and the competition has been fierce.
But this isn’t just about Boccia! Other fun challenges are in the works for future rounds, including:
- Sports-based games
- Pool and air hockey competitions
- Outdoor team tasks
The beauty of Puddle vs The World is that it’s not about being the fastest or strongest—it’s about teamwork, community spirit, and having a great time together.
The Puddle Trophy: More Than Just a Prize
At stake? The glorious Puddle Trophy—a symbol of pride, teamwork, and local connection.
Each match ends with a trophy presentation, photos, and plenty of laughs—but most importantly, it sparks new friendships and breaks down barriers between adults with SEND and the wider community.
“It’s amazing to see companies and our adults coming together—not just competing, but sharing laughs, learning about each other, and showing what inclusion really looks like.”
