Set in the heart of Warrington, The Puddle Project is an inclusive, outdoor-led community hub supporting all ages with SEND. Our day opportunities are carefully designed to offer progressive pathways, whether it’s through gardening, animal care, catering, maintenance, hospitality, or creative arts. These are not just activities—they’re employment-ready skillsets.
Tailored Employment Pathways for Adults with SEN
Each adult that joins our programme is supported by a personalised development plan. We focus on each individual’s strengths, interests and aspirations, helping them find their own route toward employment. Opportunities include:
On-site volunteering roles that develop into paid roles
Weekend family support roles (currently employing 4 individuals with SEND)
Work experience placements with community partners
Training in soft skills, such as teamwork, timekeeping, and communication
Paid part-time roles at The Puddle Project, where suitable
From Day Service to Paid Work: A Real Impact
