The Puddle's Transformation

What was once a derelict fly-tipping site has been transformed over ten years of regeneration, resulting in the introduction of diverse flora, fauna, and wildlife pools.

Today, it’s affectionately known as The Puddle.

Partner Review

We are absolutely delighted with the successful integration of The Puddle Project, our innovative Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) space. Partnering with this incredible outdoor SEND space has been a truly enriching experience for both our learners and staff. The impact has been immediate and overwhelmingly positive, creating new opportunities for engagement, exploration, and inspiration.

This space is already transforming the way we support and empower our learners, and we are excited to see its continued growth and impact in the future.

Families United has had the privilege of being firm friends with The Puddle Project for the past 3.5 years, and from the very beginning, their ‘can-do’ attitude has set them apart. They have not only continually adapted their activities and facilities to meet the needs of our families, but they have done so with warmth, understanding, and an unwavering commitment to inclusion.

The Puddle team welcomes our families with open arms, treating them like their own and providing opportunities that are often out of reach elsewhere.

What sets The Puddle Project apart is their commitment not only to promoting independence and confidence building, but also to expanding land and the provision they provide. This expansion allows for more hands-on learning opportunities in a natural, open setting, further enhancing the development of practical skills that can be applied in real-world environments.

The focus on creating sustainable, enriching experiences for each individual ensures that they receive the best care and guidance, promoting long-term success and integration into the community.
