Originally a derelict piece of land used for fly tipping, it has taken 3 years of regeneration to introduce the flora, fauna and wildlife pools which have given us what is affectionately referred to today as “the puddle”.

Now for the boring bit, try and stay awake, trust me, it gets better.
A steering committee of local business owners / directors, parish councillors, head teachers, environmentalists and of course the ultimate kill joys being health and safety executives and accountants (yawn) have been assembled and tasked with conscientiously and innovatively developing “the puddle” with the assistance of the local community.

Their objective is to create a self-sustaining social enterprise that can continuously evolve in line with the strategic needs of Warrington Borough Council in bringing physical and mental wellbeing to the local community and provide a rural educational facility for those with special needs
